Known Device-specific Video Issues in Marrow

Please note: These errors are device-specific, meaning that a fool-proof resolution can only be achieved by the device manufacturer. Unfortunately, Marrow might not be able to help. As of now, only a selected number of users are affected, we are constantly monitoring and trying to fix these issues on the go.

Marrow Videos work seamlessly without issues in 99.8% of devices. Issues might happen in 0.2% of devices whose manufacturers are yet to support certain basic hardware requirements and security protocols such as DRM which are necessary for a seamless experience.

What is DRM?

DRM or Digital Rights Management are standard security measures that are implemented to provide a streamlined watching experience and to keep our Videos and your devices secure and uncompromised. This implementation is widely used by the majority of subscription-based services (like Amazon, Netflix, Hotstar) that stream media to your devices.

Video lag at higher Speeds – for this issue I’ve found a solution. Install Floating Timer app (i downloaded it first to set timer for custom module). Then open it and set up the timer and let te timer float on the corner of your screen. Now open and play any Marrow video. The video plays smoothly at higher speed.
